GENERAL DUTIES
Provides information and services to the College community to support the Human Resources function.

Prepares and executes various personnel transactions involving employee recordkeeping, processing of new hires, pay administration, and recruiting

Maintains an understanding of policies, procedures, regulations, and collective bargaining agreements relevant to human resources

Organizes and processes employee information; develops and maintains reports and queries; assures data accuracy and completeness

Responds to requests for information; troubleshoots issues, follows up and responds to employee inquiries

Assists HR managers with employee communications of all kinds; may prepare materials, conduct orientation sessions, or update web pages

Performs related duties as assigned.

CAMPUS SPECIFIC INFORMATION
HR Recruitment Coordinator will primarily provide general assistance related to the personnel actions, policies, procedures and recruitment of the college’s staffing and on-boarding functions. This position reports to the HR Manager.
In addition to the CUNY Title Overview, duties include but are not limited to the following:
Assist with HR processes such as organizational chart maintenance, correspondence generation, ad-hoc reporting, data entry workflows related to TAM and position management.
Coordinate with the HR Manager and the Office of Diversity to assist in various recruitment objectives throughout the search process.
Assist with coordinating civil service hiring pools and perform administrative tasks (e.g., assemble application material, update contact detail, confirm attendance, check in attendees, record interview status, etc.); follow prescribed protocols.
Update the careers page of the HR website.
Act as first-level contact for all users of TAM; develop a resolution or escalate issues as needed and maintain communication with customer and technical teams.
Participate in recruitment events, such as job fair/ career expos and conferences, as needed. Perform continuous support to the HR Manager on special projects and recruitment and training activities as required; attends all Central Office recruitment meetings.
Meet the goals that are set with HR Manager and HR Assistant Vice President.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree required.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

Two years HR experience in a higher education institution or large public organization. Knowledge of the CUNY system a plus.

Knowledge of current federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Ability to communicate e¿ectively across various levels of the organization.

Detail-oriented with analytical, evaluative, and research skills.

Strong organizational and work ethic; able to maintain con¿dentiality, use discretion, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
COMPENSATION
Salary commensurate with education and experience ($43,520-$62,689).
