The Junior Accountant serves an important role in business operations, working as a general ledger accountant and bookkeeper. You will be working directly with the accountant and the accountingmanager in supportingaccountingoperations. This is not a position where you will just learn how to use anaccountingsystem, you will need to apply your knowledge ofaccountingto problemsolve, including investigating balance sheet variances. This would be a perfect position for someone who craves responsibility, learning, and experience, supporting all facets ofaccounting and finance with unlimited opportunity to grow.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree inaccounting or finance or equivalent relevant accounting experience
- 1+ year of general ledger/bookkeeping experience.
- GAAP Principles Knowledge, G/L experience, and experience in MS Excel are mandatory
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, including Lookups and pivot tables
- Solid understanding of the fundamentals ofaccounting to include accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the reconciliation process
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
- Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality with regards to company accounts.
- Qualify and obtain for a U.S Government security clearance.
Salary Range: 55k+ to align with education and experience
Hybrid
