This position is responsible for the operations of both Men’s/Women’s Golf Teams and will report to the Head Coach of Men’s/Women’s Golf. The role will:
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of Tournament operations for each Golf program. 
  • Serve as primary contact to facilitate media for each team including social media accounts and press releases. 
  • Be responsible for daily operations including equipment, purchasing, facility coordination, monitoring fuel station, team travel logistics, alumni relations, student welfare, camps, and practice setup. 
  • Will supervise team managers, ARMS program scheduling. 
  • Plan and organize official/unofficial visits and assist in hosting recruits during recruiting weekends. 
  • Recruit tracking and data base management. 
  • Work closely with coaches and support staff in all areas to support student-athlete development. 
  • Coach players at Individual Events and attend some team tournament/practice trips.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (4 years).
  • 1 to 2 years experience
  • Knowledge of how a college athletic program operates.
  • Knowledge of the NCAA rules and particularly how they apply to men’s and women’s golf
  • Strong computer skills and ability to use video and other electronic equipment.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience as a student athlete and/or working within an athletics department highly desired.
