Scope of Position

As a Senior SAP Technical Product Manager, you will own product strategy and roadmaps for a dedicated workstream (Energy Storage) in EDF AO, Digital Transformation organization. This role is driven by defining strategic priorities and laying out a product vision. You will transform vision into actions and build measurable product plans. The focus is on bringing the Maintenance & Planning digital tools to the next level to improve asset availability, team productivity and enhance employee experience. You will focus on driving excellence in strategy and execution. The TPM Leader will require experience designing creative, quality technical products and enabling business capabilities and objectives through technology and experience with SAP and ideally the Field Service Management (FSM) application.

Responsibilities

Product Management

Lead and handle enterprise roadmap

    Lead the creation of a product/platform vision and multi-year roadmap for a function in partnership with Engineering teams and the business
  • Understand Business needs, outcomes and value and ensure roadmaps are aligned to those needs
  • Ensure roadmaps account for and integrate dependencies across functional areas within Domains
  • Collaborating with other TPM's/PM's, Renewables Industry SME, and the GPM to address dependencies across the Global Products; provide inputs into overall end to end Global Tech roadmap development
Define product and platform strategy
  • Applying a "customer-centric" approach in crafting roadmaps and building products/platforms that both meet current and future enterprise needs
  • Developing strategies to ensure they deliver outsized value to our customers quickly and are built to be scalable and agile
  • Bringing outstanding market and industry insights to platform and product strategy
  • Deliver value to the business via products & platforms while elevating product management maturity
  • Use a value framework to make decisions
  • Drive the execution steps of product management aligned with the value framework
  • Drive adherence to all standard TPM ways of working (e.g., process, artifacts, templates, collaboration models)
  • Track value delivered, product adoption, performance, and execution against the roadmap and adjusting roadmaps as necessary
  • Develop requirements (user stories) in support of meeting business objectives and project deliverables that are prioritized, have clear acceptance criteria, and have been estimated for Business Value (Impact) and Complexity (Effort)
  • Be accountable for execution of priorities and delivery of business outcomes, identifying and driving toward achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) and resolution of use cases
  • Work with multiple business and technical stakeholders to understand business process, data, reporting requirements, and opportunities to enhance the product(s)
  • Document, review, and moderate user stories and acceptance criteria while providing a critical eye to the content, presentation, and level of detail
  • Coordinate and participate in Scrum ceremonies as well as QA and UAT sessions to ensure adherence to requirements and usability
  • Facilitate and participate in technical and business communication, provide context, and establish priority for enhancements and changes
  • Orchestrate cross-functional platform dependencies; manage risks and ensure successful delivery of a multi-year program
  • Actively escalate impediments as they arise up through proper channels
Change Management and Stakeholder Engagement
  • Champion Agile practices with the product teams, stakeholders, and end users
  • Cultivate a healthy team by encouraging safety and trust to contribute to an environment where good decisions can happen quickly
  • Other duties as assigned
Working Conditions:

80% of time is spent in the office environment. 20% of time is spent outside of the office comprised of national and international travel for meetings and collaboration with global counterparts, as well as travel to conferences and trade shows to understand new and emerging technologies and changes to the renewable energy industry.

Qualifications
Education/Experience:
  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree with emphasis business or engineering or equivalent working experience
  • 7+ years of experience leading teams as a Product Manager in a complex, high visibility global enterprise environment with SAP
  • Scrum Alliance Certified Digital Product Owner or Digital Product Manager certification highly desired
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

You are skilled in product management, analytics, a structured and data-driven thinker, and excellent communication skills. Experience crafting quality technical products and enabling business capabilities and objectives through technology will be critical. You bring experience with conducting user research, usability testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, and analytics. Additionally, you should have experience forming alliances and bringing together multiple partners to complete a common mission.

  • Strong emotional intelligence and maturity, and senior management level presence
  • Previous experience In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence decisions and resolve conflicts

Additional preferences are:

  • Product Management experience conducting strategic quantitative and or qualitative analysis in a cross- functional enterprise environment in the tech industry to support and improve business operations involving program, process, or product management
  • Leading day to day project communications and supporting executive management reports and business presentations
  • Product Management, financial analysis, technology, and P&L management
  • Experience with solar and/or energy storage asset operational data
  • French speaker is a plus

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to sit or stand at computer for a reasonable length of time typing and reading. Regularly required to walk or stand. 100% of time is spent in the office environment, utilizing computers (frequent use of various Microsoft software/programs), phones, and general office equipment.

This role's target annual base salary range is between $135,500 and $165,000.
