Product Owner - ERP

Introduction

Job Mission

As a product owner for the Cymer Light Source division of ASML, you are responsible for coordinating the delivery of ERP manufacturing, logistics, material planning, and finance application solutions. You will connect internal customers who have a long list of wishes with the IT teams that deliver successful products in increments. You will work closely with both groups to develop and prioritize the backlog. It is important to form and convey your goals and vision, keeping both customers and IT teams happy. We work in iterations within periodic Program Increment planning events where you are responsible to align, refine and prioritize the team backlog for the upcoming Program Increment.

This team has a dedicated scrum master/Agile coach with whom you will partner. You will also partner with other internal IT teams. Our application landscape is dominated by Oracle products including EBusiness Suite, Value Chain Planning, Agile PLM, Hyperion, Web Center, and cloud planning. We are in the infancy of our Agile transformation and you will have the opportunity to influence our way of working.

This position may require access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. * 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require the Company to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as liaison between business representatives and IT analysts/developers.
  • Understand, define, refine, and drive prioritization of the backlog which includes new initiatives, value added enhancements, and life cycle management.
  • Ensure the Team Backlog is visible, transparent and clear to all. Use Jira and Jira Align to organize work into Epics, Features, and Stories.
  • Aid in the adoption of our Agile transformation throughout the subsidiary.
  • Collect and respond to/act upon stakeholder feedback.
  • Prepare and execute quarterly plans.
  • Organize disparate work streams.
  • Coordinate with complimentary teams.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration.
  • Minimum 5 years professional experience in materials management or manufacturing.
  • This is not a traditional product owner role, so accreditation is not necessary, though it may be helpful.
  • Preferred:
    • Oracle ERP hands on experience.
    • Product owner/Project manager experience.
    • JIRA/JIRAAlign experience.
    • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).

Other Information

  • This position is located on-site in San Diego, CA.It works on a hybrid schedule, 3 days onsite, 2 days remote. It requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration and innovation.
  • Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves for entire duration of shift.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch.
  • Infrequent travel to other office sites in the US and Netherlands is possible. No more than 5%.
