Exams and Awards Team

This post presents an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated administrator to join our busy and varied team. The role will support all areas throughout the year, especially awards support and with a focus of main responsibilities on the Exams area and supervising our team members in various event delivery. This post holder will coordinate across our Exams and Awards area with specific focus on the Exams event and Award date document production and distribution.

This role encompasses everything from servicing document orders and providing certificates upon graduation, to planning and delivering our exams and assessment throughout the year. We deal first hand with students, our colleagues and many suppliers and stakeholders. The post holder would also have responsibilities to support our efforts to recruit, train and manage a large team of invigilators and support staff to deliver our key events.

To support the diverse range of activities we deliver in the student lifecycle we are seeking someone who can demonstrate excellent communication, organisational and inter-personal skills. You must be able to demonstrate that you can work accurately and within relevant policies and procedures. You will be an excellent team player with a proven ability to work proactively; problem solving is a huge element of our customer support. You will be friendly, well organised and adaptable. Experience in events is desirable, strong organisational skills and customer service focus are essential.

This post is an administrative role with a strong element of events planning and as such is not purely a ‘desk job’ there’s lots of variety and activity to be involved which usually attracts and appeals to people looking for an exciting and engaging role. This is an operational team based on Highfield campus.
