This position will work a hybrid schedule which includes a combination of working both onsite at Towne Centre Drive and remote.

DESCRIPTION

We are a growing team dedicated to providing an excellent Epic training experience for our front-line clinicians. We pride ourselves in taking ownership of our work, supporting each other every step of the way, and providing outstanding customer service. We work hard but we also love to have fun, celebrate each other, and build strong relationships.

In addition to providing Epic training for new hires, the Epic Principal Trainer is responsible for designing and maintaining curriculum for the assigned area(s). They provide educational support for both operational and strategic projects, perform site visits in hospital and clinical areas to shadow end users, and assist at-the-elbow support. The current opening is a new position and will be dedicated to supporting various specialty areas.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Seven (7) years of EMR healthcare education/training experience, preferably with Epic, OR a Bachelor's degree in related area plus three (3) years of related EMR healthcare education/training experience, preferably with Epic. Related experience also includes: instructional design, academic healthcare systems support.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Epic certifications in any of the following areas: Epic Training Environment certification or accreditation; Epic Clinical Informatics certification or accreditation; EpicCare Ambulatory certification or accreditation; Epic ClinDoc and/or Orders certification or accreditation; Amplifire author certification
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
  • Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.

  • Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $94,400 - $176,800 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $45.21 - $84.67

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
