Job Description
Job Duties: Primary duties include classroom, simulation, and clinical instruction in the Associate of Applied Science Degree in Nursing (ADN) program. Evaluate and alter curriculum in degree
program. Recruit, advise, and counsel students in the ADN program. Participate and serve on division and college committees. Select appropriate materials/equipment for program
use. Directly supervise academic and clinical activities. Participate in state-wide nursing meetings and workshops. Work rules, code of conduct and other policies are part of the essential functions
of the job. Communicate effectively with students, college personnel, health care personnel and management.
Salary: Nursing Schedule. Commensurate with education and experience. Nine-month position. Other Benefits: Benefits package available (Health/Life insurance, retirement plan, sick/personal

QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or documentation of anticipated completion of MSN.
Experience & Training: Current RN License and 3 or more years nursing clinical experience.
Additional Preferred Qualification Requirements: Ability and skill to manage a high volume of work. Must enjoy meeting the public and assisting students. Must possess required knowledge,
skills, abilities and experience of a Registered Nurse. Must be able to explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable accommodations, the essential functions of the job. Experience in
working with diverse populations. Candidate must be authorized to work in the U.S. and must provide verifiable credentials; successful completion of the physical and drug screen specified for the position. Must have a valid Driver’s License and be insurable through SWTJC insurers. Travel required to other geographic locations served by the college.
