This is a Full-time (60 hrs/2 week) 12-hour Night shift, with a rotating work schedule that includes weekends. Located at Scripps Mercy in Hillcrest.

Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego is in the heart of Hillcrest. It was founded in 1890 and is the county's oldest medical center. We offer a wide range of specialty services, including 24-hour emergency care, robotic surgery, prenatal care (including NICU) and outpatient physical rehab.
As an Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech), you will support emergency department or urgent care by performing basic emergency medical procedures as directed.
* Under supervision, assists nurses and physicians in the performance of their functions.
* You will perform assessment of vital signs, thermal applications, non-sterile soaks, application of simple dressings and splints, stool and urine collection.
* You may transport patients and/or provide coverage for the unit secretary.
Required Qualifications:
* Certified CA state issued EMT (EMT, AEMT or Paramedic) or CNA
* BLS Healthcare Provider Certifications through American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications:
* One (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting
