Position Summary/Purpose of Position:

The Decision, Operations & Information Technologies Department at the Smith School of Business is home to faculty who focus their teaching and research on the nexus of strategy, operations, analytics, and technology. The department has strong and expanding industry partnerships and a top-10 ranking in the Management Information Systems program.
Growth in the undergraduate Information Systems major and the MS in Information Systems program has created opportunities for teaching faculty who want to contribute to the development and mentorship of students who are positioned to be future leaders of Business-Technology. We are seeking individuals who are comfortable straddling the worlds of business and technology and providing in-depth technology instruction within a business context.
This is a full-time, professional track faculty position in either the Lecturer or Clinical categories, depending on education, and previous work experience.
Opportunities exist in the following areas:
· Programming and analytics (Python and R) and Web application development
· Database management, enterprise data management, and cloud computing
· Analysis and design of business processes and business systems
· Harnessing of business productivity from technologies such as Blockchain, the Internet of Things, Machine Learning, and use-inspired AI
