Genesis10 is seeking a Sr SW Test Development Engineer for a remote 12-month contract to hire position with a leading client in San Diego, CA.
This role pays $70-75 /hour W2 based on experience.
Candidates applying must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder and able to work on a W2 basis directly with Genesis10.

Job Duties:
- This Engineer analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action, consults with software development engineers in resolution of problems and is responsible to train junior engineers for the tasks required to complete and be a mentor to support engineers' growth.
Job Requirements:
- Self-driven, experienced in test automation and infrastructure and capable of making the changes necessary to increase the automation coverage, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Proven experience leading projects, in test framework design and implementation, CI/CD integration, daily regression environments, and broad knowledge of various test functions & types such as integration, functional, load/performance, user workflows, system, and mobile.
- Recognizes the value of effective testing that is traceable to specifications and is compliant with regulatory expectations.
- Knowledge of Android and/or iOS devices, mobile apps, including debugging, installation, and configuration.
- Proficiency with SW Automation testing of at least 6 years. Need at least 3 to 4 years of Automated Mobile Testing
- Experience with design, develop, execute, and maintaining automated and manual test scripts and frameworks.
- Contribute to release process improvements
- Analyze failures and collaborate with development teams to ensure root cause is investigated
