Job Description
Wenzhou Business College is a top ranked private university approved by the Ministry of Education in China. With nearly 20,000 students and over 1,000 faculty members, the College invites applications for 10-year full-time tenure track positions at all ranks in Accounting to begin in Fall 2024 or Spring 2025. The successful candidate will be able to teach intermediate or advanced accounting courses, as well as participate in the full range of faculty responsibilities, including scholarly research and service to the University. Applicants should possess a PhD degree in accounting from an AACSB or EQUIS accredited program, or anticipate completion by September 2024. Applicants with terminal economics degree from top universities and proven research records in accounting are also strongly encouraged to apply.
Ideally candidates should have a track record in refereed publications and the strong potential to advance research further. The academic rank and the competitive compensation and benefits package – including free housing, health insurance, schooling, 10% retirement contribution, home leave allowance and more – will be commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience. High research candidates with established publication record may be considered for a special research track, generous research funding, up to RMB 900,000 (about USD $140K) in tax-FREE salary (pending nationality), and additional allowance besides standard benefit package, e.g. extra RMB one million in housing subsidy.
