Senior Coordinator Talent Acquisition

Job Description

Please note that this position is based in San Diego, CA. Acadia's hybrid model requires this role to work in our office three days per week on average.

Manages administrative functions related to the full-lifecycle recruitment process. Serves as the subject matter expert as it pertains to interview scheduling, recruiting systems, and expense report submission.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Executes and oversees interview scheduling logistics in a timely and professional manner. Proactively follows up with candidates and hiring teams as changes arise to ensure a seamless recruiting process.
  • Opens and closes requisitions, including building out requisition details and posting/auditing jobs to job boards.
  • Ensures a positive candidate experience and adherence by interviewers to Acadia Talent Acquisition processes and policies.
  • Administer Acadia's travel program for onsite candidate interviews.
  • Facilitates offer letter preparation, manages background checks and references, and transitions pending new hires to People and Performance Operations.
  • Supports Greenhouse systems administration requirements and provides ongoing support for Talent Acquisition team, interviewers, hiring managers, and other users.
  • Assists with application review and sourcing of candidates as needed.
  • Manages and submits expense reports on a monthly basis for Talent Acquisition expenditures.
  • Special projects and additional duties as assigned.

Education/Experience/Skills:

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years' related experience, including applicant tracking system and talent acquisition experience. Experience working in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry is preferred. An equivalent combination of relevant education and applicable job experience may be considered.

  • Demonstrated professionalism and integrity with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to establish effective relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with precise attention to detail.
  • Proactive approach, capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, see, talk or hear in a standard office environment. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for discretionary bonus and equity awards based on factors such as individual and organizational performance. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance, and location.

Salary Range
$27.89-$35 USD
