Title: Financial Aid Advisor I
Salary Range: $2,640 - $3,449 per month
Contract Term Length: 12 Months
Standard Hours: 37.5
Work Location: On-Site
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Job Summary
This position will provide front line services for the Financial Aid Office. The person in this position should be knowledgeable in student services in order to provide quality information and customer service to prospective and current students, members of their family, and alumni. This position will also provide additional service to Financial Aid Specialists and must be knowledge of federal and state aid programs and policies.
Job Duties:
Provide customer service and information to prospective, current, and former students.
Resolve student issues related to financial aid.
Assist students with online services.
Response to student inquires via text (Signal Vine), phone, and email.
Review and upload financial aid documents.
Provide specialized counseling to students and parents in person, completing necessary procedures to complete the financial aid process.
Review, enter, and scan financial aid documents to include but not limited to federal tax transcripts, untaxed income, W-2s, and tax schedules, recalculation documents, professional judgment appeals, SAP forms, and citizenship documents.
Provide staff support to the Financial Aid Specialists to include, but not limited to typing, mailing, tracking letters, data entry, assist with maintaining various databases.
Serve as regional campus student contact.
Update and stock financial aid forms.- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (related field) or equivalent years of experience
Preferred Qualifications:
