### Job Summary:

We are seeking dedicated and highly motivated individuals to join our team as Police Officers. As a Police Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining public safety and enforcing laws within our community. ### Responsibilities:

- Patrol assigned areas to deter crime and ensure public safety
- Respond to emergency calls and provide assistance as needed
- Conduct traffic stops and issue citations or warnings for traffic violations
- Investigate crimes, gather evidence, and interview witnesses
- Make arrests and apprehend suspects
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, investigations, and arrests
- Testify in court proceedings as required
- Provide support and assistance to other law enforcement agencies as needed

### Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent-Act 120 Certified, Under the Municipal Police Officers Education, and Training Act. Successful applicants must also meet the requirements of he Borough's Civil Service rules, and requirements. Including backround invesitigation, drug screening, physical, and psychological examination.

-Be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Successful completion of a certified police academy program
- First aid and CPR certification
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques
- Strong driving skills and ability to operate emergency vehicles safely
- Experience in criminal investigation procedures
- Excellent conflict management skills
- Strong leadership abilities
- Ability to handle animals safely and effectively when necessary

- Proficient in report writing

Pay: $24.72 - $37.08 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
