Essential Job Duties

Living and Learning Villages are communities within University Housing residential spaces where students, staff, and/or faculty engage in programs that are tailored to Village-specific content and strategies. Villages provide students with the opportunity to connect with other NC State community members who share a common interest or lived experience through curricular and co-curricular programs. As partnership-focused professionals, Village Program Directors collaborate with offices, departments, and colleges all across NC State to ensure that students within these specialized communities have access to the best our campus has to offer.

This interdisciplinary learning experience allows students to explore their interests in environmental conversation, energy, sustainable industry and business, agriculture, and many of the other 17 Sustainable Development Goal themes identified by the United Nations through service learning, field experiences, social events, and educational programming.
