All administrators, faculty and staff are called to assist students in their formation to be Christ-like students and thus must embrace and advance the Holy Cross mission of the College in all professional activities.

Typical Schedule: Lead two, 75 minute in-class sessions each week for 16 weeks, beginning the spring 2025 semester.

Purpose: Teach up to 2 face-to-face courses per semester across business and related disciplines (e.g., management, finance, communication, organizational behavior, human resources, international business, business law, strategy, etc.) We offer a collaborative, mission-driven academic environment and an opportunity to shape future business leaders that possess a strong ethical foundation and critical reasoning skills.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Teach up to 2 face-to-face courses per semester across business and related disciplines (e.g., management, finance, communication, organizational behavior, human resources, international business, business law, strategy, etc.)
  • Host regular office hours on campus and online.
  • Support partnerships for student programming (e.g., extra-curricular internships, seminars, competitions).
  • Support core administrative functions such as timely student feedback and course assessment.
  • Course preparation, student assignment grading, midterm, and final grade reporting within three days of course end.
  • Weekly attendance reporting.

Minimum Education, Skills, and Ability:

  • Master’s degree in the appropriate subject area required. MBA, DBA, CPA, PhD, or other terminal degree in a business-related field preferred.
  • Demonstrates a passion for undergraduate teaching and commitment to a Catholic liberal arts education.
  • Excels at delivering interdisciplinary curriculum that bridges business concepts with the liberal arts and Catholic Social Teaching.
  • Creates innovative, experiential learning opportunities that reinforce our mission.
  • Previous teaching at the college level preferred.
  • Positive work experience in a Catholic college environment preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population.
