Job Description

*Healthcare Customer Service Rep: Onsite in San Diego*
Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Customer Service Representative to join our team at a leading pharmacy benefit company. This role involves working in a call center environment, handling inbound and follow-up calls, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately enter information while utilizing multiple systems and programs.
Key Responsibilities:

* Handle inbound calls and follow-up calls from customers.
* Answer questions related to prior authorization, general inquiries, and confidential information.
* Provide excellent customer service with a high level of attention to detail.
* Accurately enter information and update communication with customers.
* Manage a call volume ranging from 50-100 calls per day, depending on complexity.
* Utilize multiple systems and programs to track information and update customer records.
Required Skills:

* Experience in a call center environment.
* Strong customer service skills.
* Healthcare experience preferred.
Qualifications:

* Minimum of 1 year of call center experience.
Work Environment:

* Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5am-6pm (must be open to working any shift within this range).
* Mandatory 10 hours of overtime each week during open enrollment in the Fall.
* Mandatory overtime in January and February.
