Responsibilities
We need someone who can juggle multiple tasks and demonstrate leadership to:
- Manage office operations and maintain an efficient workflow.
- Perform advanced clerical and administrative duties (may take and transcribe dictation).
- Write general correspondence based on your knowledge and/or instructions.
- Take care of appointments, callers, and mail (according to urgency)
- Coordinate travel arrangements.
- Collaborate with clerical staff (may act as a leader).
- Keep positive working relations with coworkers, officials, and the public.
- You may also help with human resources duties, such as disseminating corporate and facility policies and procedures as well as clerical tasks related to employee performance, status changes, or benefits enrollment.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent certification required.
- Minimum of five (5) years experience in a responsible administrative secretarial position or related field. Appropriate accreditation and/or certification in related field may supplement work experience requirement.
- Proficient with general PC application software products (Microsoft Office suite).
- Ability to exercise initiative, judgment, and knowledge in the performance of complex, confidential, and sometimes difficult duties.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be a US Citizen
- Subject to a federal background investigation.
You'll spend most of your time in a comfortable office setting. You'll also have to:
- Frequently bend, stoop, and reach above shoulder level.
- Occasionally lift or carry up to 10 lbs., push or pull up to 40 lbs., and walk.
