Job Description
FLOATING AREA DIRECTOR/PROGRAM COORDINATOR, Residential and Community Life (RCL), to be a temporary live-in professional that serves as a key member of the Undergraduate Residence Life (URL) team, responsible for upholding the overall mission and vision of MIT, the Division of Student Life, and RCL; serve as an additional member of the RCL team who will cover residential needs as a URL Area Director; and advance key functional responsibilities as outlined by the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Residential Life to include, but not limited to, systems and database management.

Job Requirements:REQUIRED: A minimum of two years working independently and collaboratively on teams; excellent verbal and written communication skills: ability to communicate effectively and graciously with MIT students, staff, and outside stakeholders to build camaraderie, positive, and productive working relationships and inclusive cultures; solid organizational and problem-solving skills; comfort with minimal supervision and the ability to interpret and make decisions on issues and priorities; ability to exercise and maintain confidentiality regarding MIT community members; proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; and high degree of resourcefulness.
