Essential Job Duties
- Coordinate the annual application and selection process, including advertising the request for applications, organizing finalist interviews, serving on the selection committee and preparing acceptance and award letters.
- Plan and manage logistics for monthly meetings, the annual three-day Intensive Academy, and the Fall Symposium, including venue selection, catering, and speaker coordination.
- Maintain and update the program website with cohort bios, event details, and member accomplishments.
- Establish and manage social media platforms and communication channels to promote events and celebrate cohort achievements.
- Develop promotional materials, including flyers and campus-wide announcements, to engage the NC State community.
- Facilitate networking opportunities among students, faculty mentors, community partners, and alumni through special events and communications.
- Support and attend all CLP events, including monthly meetings, the Intensive Academy, and the Fall Symposium.
Other Responsibilities
Minimum Experience/Education
All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Other Required Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and efficient task management.
- Self-motivated and disciplined, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Creative, professional, and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating, organizing, and implementing events.
- Enthusiasm for climate and sustainability issues, with an appreciation for diverse perspectives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with website maintenance, social media platforms, communications database management, and project management.
- Understanding of budgets, purchasing, and receipt reconciliation.
- Familiarity with university policies and procedures.
