CNSP Program Administrator

Job Description

CNSP PROGRAM ADMINISTRATOR, Center for International Studies, under the direction of the SSP Associate Director, with additional guidance from the Center for Nuclear Security Policy (CNSP) Director will implement the operational and day-to-day activities of the CNSP, including coordination of the Stanton Fellows program, the CNSP Research Support Associates, CNSP Sr. Researchers and visitors, CNSP International Fellows; plan and execute events, conferences, retreats (with support from SSP admin); provide administrative support to the CNSP Director; strategic planning and operations for the program; conduct various administrative tasks for the program overall; play an integral role in special projects; and perform other duties at the request of the CNSP Director as required.

Job Requirements:

REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years of relevant experience; excellent organizational, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills; meticulous attention to detail with solid analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills; ability to follow through on tasks, work both independently and as part of a team, interact with a diverse group of faculty, students, staff, and sponsors; record of using discretion with confidential information; technical proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database tools like Airtable, and willingness to learn new software and other new skills as needed. PREFERRED: Master’s degree; MIT experience; and interest in international security and/or interest in nuclear security. Job #24653-8

Occasional weekday evening and weekend work will be required. This position follows a hybrid schedule with three days/week in the office.

Salary range: $73K - $100K based on experience and internal equity.
