Century City Center - Adjunct LVN Instructor
Job Description
Duties:
The instructor will be responsible for day clinical instruction of vocational nursing students. The candidate will also be responsible for student advising, and tracking student attendance and progress. Some travel will be required.
Qualifications:
The candidates must be a minimum of a Licensed Vocational Nurse with a current license to practice in Texas and at least two years nursing experience in a clinical setting. VC prefers an Associate's Degree in Nursing with three years medical/surgical and/or long term care nursing experience. Must be able to communicate effectively, have a current CPR certification, and be flexible with hours. Computer skills including use of Microsoft Office applications are required. The ability to promote an effective clinical/lab learning environment for student from diverse cultures and backgrounds is a must.
