U-M Health Communications Manager

Job Description

Job Summary

The Manager, U-M Health Communications, will lead the communication strategy for U-M Health, closely working with U-M Health's executive team to create and execute strategic communication plans to further the goals of the organization. The Manager will supervise communicators across U-M Health, specifically in the adult hospitals, women and children's hospitals, ambulatory care segments, Quality, Office of Patient Experience and Nursing. These managerial responsibilities will be additive to select individual projects supporting the health system. In this role, the Manager will be meeting with internal stakeholders on key initiatives and working with team members to provide an integrated and strategic approach to communication across all units based on health system priorities. The position will report to the Sr. Director, Internal & Executive Communication in Department of Communication (DOC), and work collaboratively with other communicators on the internal team.
