Student Accessibility and Accommodation Services (SAAS) is a student-centered unit within the Division of Student Life whose work is guided by best-practice standards and interventions utilizing a multidimensional model of student well-being. SAAS oversees four key resources: Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD), Adaptive Sports and Fitness program (ASF), Testing Accommodation Centers (TAC), and Academic Support and Access Partnerships (ASAP) and is committed to inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility by providing support services, advocacy, and academic accommodations to students with disabilities. SAAS is strongly committed to outreach services to the academic community at large, promoting awareness of disability issues and providing support for equal access for all students. SAAS is a partner to students, faculty, and staff in the pursuit of developing leaders and citizens who will challenge the present and enrich the future.
Job Summary
Under the direction of the Supervisor of the TAC, will coordinate, schedule, and implement services in the Testing Accommodation Centers; coordinate testing services for students with disabilities, including scheduling appointments, collecting confidential tests from instructors, preparing tests for facilitation, and overseeing the proctoring of tests; support the Supervisor with making recommendations regarding the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the day-to-day operations of the TAC; collaborate with Testing Assistants to ensure the testing situation meets the recommended accommodations; monitor student behavior in the Testing Center and resolve or report test irregularities; under the guidance of the Supervisor, will train student temp workers and coordinate tasks of proctors as needed; orient students using new equipment and provide on-going support; coordinate the provision of adaptive equipment and furniture. Assist with data collection regarding accommodations and service delivery. Requires the ability to exercise independent judgment and employ basic reasoning skills.
This is a 9-month seasonal position, from mid-August through mid-May each year. The posting salary range for this position reflects: $29,736- $34,200 based on a 9-month seasonal appointment- The starting salary may vary depending on qualifications, experience, and education of the selected candidate.
(Note, a 12-month posting salary range for this position reflects $39,650- $45,600).

Selected candidates whose start date is after 4/1/2024 or before 8/31/2024 will not be eligible for the university FY 24-25 salary/merit plan unless otherwise notified.
This role may have reporting obligations under Title IX and Clery.
