Job Description

This position is accountable for supporting the staff by performing a wide range of basic clerical/office tasks for the Office of Financial Aid and must be very customer-service oriented.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

 

 



  • Greet all callers and visitors in courteous manner.
  • Assist with clerical tasks such as making copies, filing, scanning documents into Image Now.
  • Become familiar with all Financial Aid policies, procedures, and general information in order to assist with telephone and in-person inquiries.
  • Assist students and guests who visit the Financial Aid Office.
  • Maintains an appropriate and professional environment in the reception area of the office.
  • Answers phone calls and directs calls to the appropriate financial aid counselors.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

MUST BE A STUDENT AT SAINT XAVIER UNIVERSITY
FEDERAL WORK STUDY REQUIRED

Student must be dependable, professional, and customer service oriented. The student must have the ability to interact with the public in a courteous, business-like manner at all times, while handling/viewing confidential information.
