Adjunct Instructor of Business Analytics, Applied Statistics, and/or Database Mining and Management

Job Description

The Johnson College of Business and Economics at the University of South Carolina Upstate seeks applicants for adjunct (part-time) faculty positions in Business Analytics, Applied Statistics, and Database Mining and Management. We are seeking qualified candidates to teach in the areas of Predictive Analytics, Prescriptive Analytics, Enterprise-wide Analytics (SAP, Oracle Azure), Data Visualization (Power BI), Big Data, Marketing Analytics, Finance and Accounting Analytics, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence.

The College offers courses online and in-person at the George, located at 160 East St. John Street, Spartanburg, SC, 29306.

Minimum qualifications: Master’s degree in an area relevant to the desired discipline with related work experience that will help to prepare students for careers in analytics. For graduate courses, a Ph.D. in the discipline is preferred.
