Applies a working understanding of technical concepts, practices and theories
Applies a working knowledge and skills in the use of equipment and software. Inventory and label equipment. Basic knowledge of how a CMMS functions (more specifically AiM). Update CMMS (AiM) database based on new construction, renovations, and mechanic feedback.
Generate and close out work orders. Enter material requests and expedite material procurement and organization. Work closely with PM engineer to improve and evolve the PM program. Assist in the application of standard times to all maintenance work using engineered time standards and/or adjust PM estimated times based on trends from previous work completed. Assist in the development/maintenance of equipment records and costs. Assist in the development/Implementation of preventive maintenance needs.
Originates/processes maintenance work orders resulting from preventive maintenance inspections. Assist in the performance of quality checks and generates reports. Assist in the creation of spreadsheets to analyze how cost or performance are trending or for quantifying cost of equipment. Assist in the assignment of area balance PM workloads based on hours and shop staffing levels. Assist in the documentation of project and innovation reports.
